Emily Lai

Emily Lai is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the energy and procurement sectors. Currently serving as a Commercial Operation Advisor at Shell Energy Australia since May 2022, Emily previously worked at Shell as an LNG Inventory Planner from November 2017 to September 2022. Prior to that, Emily held the position of Inventory Demand Planner Australasia at Halliburton Australia Pty Ltd from July 2013 to November 2017, where responsibilities included forecast planning and inventory control for Australia and PNG, managing an inventory value of $8-10 million monthly. Emily's earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Contract and Procurement Specialist at Halliburton Singapore Pte Ltd from March 2007 to May 2013, focusing on procurement procedures and contract management with a purchase authority of US$350,000. Emily holds a Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Business Administration from University Utara Malaysia.
