Abdulaziz Al-Amri has extensive experience in finance and contract management within the petroleum industry. Starting as an Executive Accountant at Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Co. SAOG from March 2009 to August 2012, Abdulaziz prepared financial statements, managed accounts for filling stations, and worked with an ERP system. Transitioning to Petroleum Development Oman from May 2016 to July 2019, Abdulaziz held roles as Senior Contract Engineer and Contract Engineer, executing full sourcing processes and managing contract changes. Most recently, at Shell from July 2019 to April 2023, Abdulaziz served as SC Commercial Lead for Upstream Gas projects and Supply Chain Lead for capital projects focused on renewable energy solutions. Abdulaaziz is also an Advanced Practitioner in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, obtained in 2017.
