Denise Marek-Plumb

Denise Marek-Plumb is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in digital transformation within the energy sector. Currently serving as Transformation Lead at Shell since January 2022, Denise has held various pivotal roles at the company since 2005, including Upstream Deepwater Digitalization PMO Workstream Lead and SPC SAFe Implementation/Transformation Lead. Denise’s expertise encompasses leading digitalization initiatives, integrating digital applications with legacy systems, and overseeing the GeoSigns Subsurface & Wells Interpretation Technology Program. Prior to Shell, Denise garnered project management experience at Lyondell Chemical Co., Equistar Chemicals LP, and Houston Refining LP from 1999 to 2004. Educational credentials include attendance at the University of Houston.
