Ivana Vukovic

Ivana Vukovic is a Principal Data Scientist at Shell, where responsibilities include combining hands-on contributions with leadership of other data scientists, specifically focusing on AI applications for integrity inspections using Machine Vision. Vukovic has held various leadership roles, including Team Lead for C3 AI Development, managing over 20 professionals in digitalization projects, and as Lead Data Scientist, guiding enterprise-scale predictive maintenance applications. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Data Scientist, Competitive Intelligence Focal, and Process Engineer at Shell, as well as a Research Chemist overseeing innovative projects. Early career experience includes an Engineer Intern position at Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company and a Research Intern role at Unicamp - Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Vukovic holds a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Machine Learning from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a PhD in Nanomaterials/Polymer Chemistry from the University of Groningen, and a Master of Engineering in Polymer Chemistry from the University of Belgrade.
