Rebecca Dalton McGarr

Rebecca Dalton McGarr is an experienced human resources executive with a comprehensive background in global HR support across various sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of HR at Shell since May 2002, Rebecca leads HR for Shell’s Projects & Technology business unit, overseeing integrated HR strategies for 40,000 employees and contractors. Previous roles at Shell include Vice President of Human Resources for Chemicals & Refining and Midstream, where responsibilities encompassed HR support for significant international workforces. Prior to Shell, Rebecca held HR positions at Enron and The Home Depot, following a career inception in HR generalist roles. Educational qualifications include a BA from Arizona State University and an MEd from Northern Arizona University, alongside co-ownership and management of a commercial and residential real estate business, PDM LLC.
