Lindsay Hamrick, CAWA, CPDT-KA, MS, serves as the Director of Shelter Outreach & Engagement at The Humane Society of the United States, leading initiatives focused on mentorship programs in pet-inclusive housing, cat protection, and capacity building for underserved shelters. Previously, Lindsay held the position of Director of Policy for Companion Animals, advocating for legislation to keep pets with families and enhance animal welfare. Additional roles include board member positions at Shelter Animals Count and the New England Federation of Humane Societies, along with freelance writing contributions to The Wildest pet care site.
