Alam Gir

Alam Gir serves as the Group Financial Controller and Board Advisor at Shelter Group since April 2020, overseeing finance operations and optimizing financial performance across the group. Prior to this role, Alam held the position of Financial Controller at Al Feroz International Trading W.L.L. from December 2011 to March 2020, directing financial strategy and risk management. With extensive experience in financial oversight, Alam also served as Group Internal Audit Manager for AL JABER GROUP, implementing audit plans for over 35 companies from November 2006 to December 2011. Prior roles include Internal Audit Manager/Chief Accountant at NOKIA-Mashail AlKhaleej Electronics and Deputy Manager at Pearls Green Forest Limited. Alam holds a Master's degree in Business/Commerce from Aligarh Muslim University and multiple certifications from professional bodies in internal auditing and financial services.
