Joe Meyer

Joe Meyer is the current Executive Director & CEO of Shelter House. Joe has previously been a member of Future Fund and the ELI Program Committee Chair at Leadership Fairfax, Inc. Joe has also served as the Assistant Director of Reston Interfaith, Inc.

Joe has dedicated their career to helping others and giving back to the community. Joe has a passion for helping those in need and is always looking for ways to improve the lives of those they serve. Joe is a strong leader with a proven track record of success in various organizations. Joe is an effective communicator and has a deep understanding of the issues facing those who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Joe is committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve and is always looking for ways to improve Shelter House and the services it provides.

Joe Meyer has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Management from Duke University.
