Rosemarie Placencia

Rosemarie Placencia currently serves as the Community Development Manager at ShelterBox, leading emergency shelter responses for vulnerable families in the Philippines since January 2019, with involvement in eight emergency responses to date. Prior to this role, Placencia worked for the Cebu Provincial Government as the Local Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Officer II, where engagement with youth in disaster risk reduction activities and training facilitation were key responsibilities. Earlier experience includes contributions to disaster recovery and community development projects at HelpAge International and sponsorship services at GoodNeighbors and Plan International.
