Elena Battles

Elena Battles has a strong background in customer experience and sales. Elena is currently the Director of Customer Experience at Shelterluv, a position they have held since August 2021. Before that, they served as the Director of Sales at Shelterluv from June 2018 to August 2021. Prior to their role at Shelterluv, Elena was the Founder of Wagaroo Animal Partners from January 2012 to January 2019. Elena also worked at Humane Society Silicon Valley, where they held multiple positions, including Advisor for Strategic Planning & Reporting, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Volunteer Programs, between 2007 and 2011. Elena's earlier experience includes roles at Stanford Hospital & Clinics, where they served as a Program Director of Process Excellence and a Project Manager of Process Excellence from 2004 to 2007.

Elena Battles earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1990 to 1994. Elena later pursued further education at the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on General Management, studying from 2002 to 2004.
