Arghya Chakravarty

Arghya Chakravarty is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the media and beverages sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Shemaroo Entertainment Ltd. since July 2022, Arghya specializes in content licensing across various platforms. Prior roles include EVP - Ad Sales at Star TV Network, CEO at Times Innovative Media Limited, and Executive Director - Sales for Beverages at Pepsico India, where responsibilities encompassed leading sales functions. Earlier in the career, Arghya gained valuable experience as a Business Development Manager at Akzo Nobel Decorative Coatings, and held various managerial positions at Asian Paints, including Chief Executive for Bangladesh. The career began as a Senior Officer in Instrumentation at Tata Steel. Arghya holds a PGDM in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from BIT Mesra.
