Joan Hoover-Shifflett

Joan Hoover-Shifflett, MBA, currently serves as the Manager of Strategic Planning and Analytics at Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative, where responsibilities include promoting the organization's strategic plan and executing change management initiatives. Prior to this role, Joan was the Director of Customer Service and Production Control at Freeport Press, overseeing a team in a growing manufacturing environment and contributing to the company's vision and long-term strategy. Joan also held the position of Operations Manager at LSC Communications, managing operations within a bindery department, and previously worked at RR Donnelley as both Continuous Improvement/CS Lead and Customer Service Manager, focusing on process improvements and customer service efficiency. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Eastern Mennonite University, a BBA and an Associate of Science from Averett University.
