Robbie F. Marchant

After relocating often as a child of a military family, Robbie Marchant finally settled in the Shenandoah Valley. She has served as a director from the city of Winchester since 2011. Robbie currently serves on the Compensation & Benefits Committee and the Finance Committee. She is chair of the Virginia Maryland & Delaware Electric Cooperative Education Scholarship Foundation and Committee, as well as represents SVEC on the Old Dominion Electric Cooperative Board of Directors.

Robbie is chief financial officer for the Timber Ridge School, a residential treatment center for adolescent boys in northern Frederick County. She has held the position for 12 years and before that worked as an accountant for manufacturing companies. Following in her father’s footsteps, Robbie began her work career in the Army, serving in Desert Storm and Germany. After leaving active duty, she served in the National Guard and reached the rank of captain.

Robbie received a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and a master’s of business administration from the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Robbie serves on the board overseeing Healthy Families of Northern Shenandoah Valley and is a member of Confraternity of Christian Mothers at Sacred Heart of Jesus and Veterans of Foreign Wars. She also volunteers for the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival and is current chair of the city of Winchester Board of Zoning Appeals.

Robbie and her husband, Roger, live in Winchester and have two sons and one daughter.
