William A. “Bill” Orndoff lives in Stephenson and has served as a director from the city of Winchester and Clarke/Frederick counties since 2015. He currently serves as the Vice Chair and sits on the Annual Meeting Committee and the Strategic Planning Committee.
Bill is the corporate business development manager for Winchester Equipment, a role he has held since 2016. He previously was the owner-operator of Clearbrook Feed & Supply, Valley Lawn Service and Black Heart Stables. Bill holds an associate’s degree in Applied Science-Agricultural Business Management from Lord Fairfax Community College, and he is a Credentialed Cooperative Director and holds a Board Leadership Certificate through the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
Bill is a member of the Clear Brook Volunteer Fire Department, where he previously served as fire chief. He is also active with the Frederick County Fair, Frederick County Republican Committee, Round Hill United Methodist Church and the Virginia Conference of UMC. He is a certified lay speaker and staff parish relations committee chair at his church, as well as vice president of the men’s group, a youth leader, Sunday School teacher and member of the praise team.
Bill was named Outstanding Youth Frederick County Fair in 1976 and held FFA positions of president, vice president and sentinel in high school. He received numerous contest awards including third in the nation in 1983 on the parliamentary procedure team.
Bill and his wife, Amy, have one son.
