Andrew L. Deitz

Andrew L. Deitz has over 24 years of work experience in the human resources field. Andrew L. began their career as a Human Resource Intern at Rocco Enterprises, where they gained valuable experience in conducting benefits surveys and revamping new employee orientation processes. Andrew L. then worked as an HR Recruiting Assistant at Parexel International during a summer position.

In 1997, Deitz joined Adecco Group, a leading HR solutions company, as a Regional Vice President. Andrew L. held this role for four years, during which they oversaw a large team and provided temporary and direct placement staffing services to clients. In 2012, they joined nTelos Wireless as a Senior Manager, focusing on staffing/recruitment strategies and employee relations. Andrew L. later became a Director of Human Resources, leading a team of HR professionals.

Since 2016, Deitz has been with Shentel, a publicly-traded integrated broadband company, where they have held several positions. Andrew L. initially worked as a Human Resources Manager, supporting the Regional HR Generalist team with staffing/recruitment strategies and employee relations. Andrew L. then became a Director of Human Resources Business Partner, responsible for leading the HRBP team and developing talent acquisition and management strategies. Currently, Deitz serves as the Director of HR Business Partners & Safety, where they oversee the HRBP team and the organization's safety function.

Throughout their career, Deitz has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a strategic approach to aligning HR strategies with organizational goals. Andrew L. has a high degree of HR knowledge, excellent business acumen, and is experienced in fostering positive relationships with all levels of leadership within organizations.

Andrew L. Deitz, MBA, PHR completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Business Administration from Bridgewater College in the years 1993-1997. Andrew L. further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business/Commerce, General from Longwood University from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including a SHRM-CP certification obtained in November 2015 from SHRM, and various online certifications from Lynda.com in areas such as leadership, project management, communication, and human resources.
