Armando Nunez II is an experienced public safety budget analyst in the Mayor's Office of Budget and Innovation, focusing on the LAPD and LAFD budgets since June 2013. Nunez has served as a Municipal Police Officer for the LAPD while also engaging in various community and volunteer organizations, including positions as Lead Volunteer for special events at Shepherd of the Hills Church and Executive Board Member Treasurer for the Porter Ranch Neighborhood Council. Additional experience includes serving as Vice-Chair of Churches for Action and working as an Analyst in the Performance Management Unit. Nunez is a graduate of U.C. San Diego with a B.A. in Economics and holds a Single Engine Private Pilot License from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
