Lauren Daffron has diverse work experience in retail and community services. Currently a Case Manager at Shepherd Community Center, Lauren assists neighbors in finding housing and resources. Lauren also worked as a fellow in the Family Ministries department and was previously a retail cashier at JOANN Stores, a retail associate at Cracker Barrel, and an associate at Kohl's Department Stores. Lauren holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership and Intercultural Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Children's Ministry from Southern Wesleyan University.

Shepherd is a faith-based, non-profit organization established in 1985 with a simple but staggering goal: to break the cycle of poverty on the near east side of Indianapolis. Located centrally within the community it serves, Shepherd offers programs for children, teens, adults, and families, helping to meet their physical, emotional, academic, and spiritual needs.
