Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
Mary Shaima is an experienced pastor currently serving at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church since August 2019, where responsibilities include worship preparation and leadership while completing ordination requirements. Mary is also a candidate for Minister of Word & Sacrament with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, awaiting assignment to the Southwestern Washington Synod. Previous roles include Bridge Pastor at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Diaconal Associate at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, and Director of Liturgy and Music at St. Peter's Catholic School. Mary holds a Master's in Theological Studies from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary, with emphases in worship and justice. Additionally, Mary has extensive legal experience, having served as Office Administrator at Law Offices of Michael L. Shaima APLC and worked as a contract legal assistant while pursuing a ministry career.
