Iain Wishart is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in finance and real estate sectors. Currently a Partner at Shepherd and Wedderburn since 2014, Iain previously held the role of Partner and Head of Real Estate Finance at Tods Murray LLP from January 2014 to October 2014. Prior to that, as Vice President at Barclays Wealth and Investment Management from 2012 to 2014, Iain focused on credit and structured debt, bespoke commercial lending, and regulatory compliance, serving as the lead lawyer for Scotland and various international jurisdictions. His earlier positions include Senior Associate at Tods Murray LLP specializing in real estate finance and a Finance and Capital Markets Associate at Clifford Chance LLP. Iain holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Strathclyde and an MSc in International & European Politics from the University of Edinburgh, and is currently pursuing a degree in Legal Technology at The University of Law.
