Rachel Schuster

Rachel Schuster is a Labor & Employment Litigation Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP, having started in October 2023. Prior to this role, Rachel gained valuable experience as an NFL Cheerleader for the San Francisco 49ers from July 2021 to May 2024, where notable achievements included serving as captain and receiving the Rookie of the Year award during Super Bowl LVIII. Rachel also served as Editor in Chief for the Berkeley Journal of Employment & Labor Law from August 2020 to May 2023, during which time recognition as a Sarah Kenyon Kraw Memorial Employment Law Fellowship Recipient was achieved. Additional experience includes externing for Judge Haywood S. Gilliam, Jr. at the U.S. District Court, working as a Summer Associate at Sheppard Mullin, law clerk positions at Legal Aid at Work, and an internship at the EEOC. Rachel was also an NBA Dancer for the Golden State Warriors, where recognition included the "Heart of the Team" award in 2021. Rachel holds a Doctor of Law degree from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
