Stephen M. Merz

Steve M. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Steve currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Sheppard Pratt Solutions. Prior to this, they worked as a Healthcare Consultant at Merz Healthcare Consulting, LLC. Steve also held leadership positions at Diamond Healthcare, serving as President and CEO (Interim) as well as Executive Vice President of Operations. Before joining Diamond Healthcare, Steve M. was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Maine Behavioral Healthcare. Steve also held key roles at Yale New Haven Hospital, including Vice President and Executive Director of Behavioral Health and Vice President of Administration.

Steve M. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Cornell University, where they attended from 1987 to 1991. Following this, they pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master's degree in Health Administration (MHSA) from 1993 to 1995.
