Janell Dragland is an experienced banquet manager with a strong background in event management and operations within the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Banquet Manager at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel since February 2020, Janell oversees daily inspections of meeting spaces and room setups in a large hotel environment. Previously, as the Banquet and Venues Manager at The Westin Denver Downtown from December 2017 to February 2020, Janell collaborated with event management on operational tasks and staff scheduling. Before that, Janell worked as a Banquet Captain at both Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel (2010-2017) and The Westin Westminster Denver-Boulder (2001-2010), managing large teams to execute catering and conference functions. Janell holds an Associate of Arts degree in Computer Programming for Business from Front Range Community College.
