Chris Govias

Chris Govias is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as the Founder of Untitled Abstract since September 2023, Chris also contributes as an Advisory Board Member at Sheridan College, offering strategic insights to the Interaction Design program. Previously, Chris held the position of Chief Design Officer at Versett from May 2022 to September 2023, where oversight of design, strategy, and product teams was pivotal during two mergers and acquisitions, alongside significant work with government sectors. Prior roles include Chief Design Officer at Domain7, Senior Consultant at Systemscope Inc., and Chief of Design at the Canadian Digital Service, where Chris established a human-centered design practice. With a background that includes leading design teams at the Ministry of Justice UK, Expedia Inc., and Reevoo, Chris has consistently focused on transforming service delivery through innovative design methodologies. Chris holds a Bachelor of Design in Visual Communication from the University of Alberta.
