Alex Tinsley, LEED AP, CHC has a diverse work experience in the construction industry. Alex is currently working as a Project Director at Sheridan Construction since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Manager Project Management at JCI Contractors from March 2022 to January 2023. From August 2018 to March 2022, they held the position of Sr. Project Manager at Parrish Construction Group. Before that, they worked at Pellicano Construction as a Senior Project Manager / Estimator from January 2009 to August 2018. Starting their career in 1998, they worked as a Project Manager/Estimator at Alcon Associates, Inc until January 2009.
Alex Tinsley obtained a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction with a minor in Business from Georgia Southern University, where they attended from 1996 to 2000. This is the only known education history for Alex Tinsley. Additionally, Alex Tinsley has obtained the FAA Drone Remote Pilot Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Sheridan Construction Began as Chris R. Sheridan & Co., a family owned business in 1947. We now are owned by the employees through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan. We provide a complete range of commercial and industrial construction services within the State of Georgia. Negotiated work represents 85% of our volume, most of which is with repeat customers. The firm's principals are registered Engineers, and a significant portion of our work is design-build projects. Sheridan Construction has done all types of work, including new and renovation work for educational, financial, medical, religious, retail, wholesale, and industrial clients. The company operates primarily in the State of Georgia. As stated above, we are an employee-owned company; each employee is motivated to serve the customer’s needs, and every customer works directly with an owner. Our goal is to make our clients happy. We stand firm on the strength of our promises and our delivery. The results are clear for all to see.
