Shaun Bott has a diverse work experience in the field of healthcare planning and project management. Shaun began their career in the US Navy, where they served as a Hospital Corpsman Chief Petty Officer and later became a Medical Department Head. In this role, they were responsible for ensuring the medical readiness of over 1500 military personnel. Shaun then transitioned to a position as a Preventive Medicine Technician at Naval Air Station New Orleans.

After completing the Health Services Collegiate Program, Shaun was commissioned as a LTJG in the US Navy and served as a Division Officer in the Information Management Department at Naval Hospital Jacksonville. Shaun oversaw the operation of the department and ensured the network for the hospital's 2000+ computers and devices were operational.
