Katherine Dawson Varholak

Katherine Dawson Varholak is a Member at Sherman & Howard. Katherine has extensive experience in appellate law and civil litigation.

Varholak began their career as a Claims Examiner for the U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Division, Constitutional and Specialized Torts from 1995-1997. Katherine then became a Law Clerk for the Honorable Arthur L. Alarcon on the U.S. Court of Appeals for 9th Cir. from 2000-2001. Finally, they worked as an Appellate Staff Attorney, Civil Division for the U.S. Department of Justice, Honors Program from 2001-2003 before joining Sherman & Howard.

Katherine Dawson Varholak graduated from Huron Highschool. Katherine then went on to Yale University and obtained their B.A. in Psychology. Finally, they attended the University of Michigan Law School where they graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
