Steven Wade

Steven Wade, M.Ed., currently serves as the Boys Athletic Coordinator and Head Coach at Sherman Independent School District since August 2023, focusing on student development through appropriate learning activities. Prior experience includes roles as a Tech Apps and College and Career Readiness Teacher at Grayson College, and a Law Enforcement 1 Teacher and PE Teacher at Sherman Independent School District, where Steven emphasized student success and applied effective instructional techniques. Previous coaching positions span across various schools, such as Rice Independent School District and Greenhill School, demonstrating a commitment to athlete mentoring and physical fitness. Steven's education consists of a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas A&M University-Commerce and degrees in Criminal Justice and Criminology from Arizona State University and Park University, respectively, complemented by a military background as an Operations and Training Non-Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps.
