Gary most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Shermco Industries, where they were responsible for overseeing electrical testing, maintenance, and industry requirements. Prior to that, they were the President and Chief Operating Officer at Avail Infrastructure Solutions, focusing on strengthening critical infrastructure.

Before these roles, Gary held multiple positions at AZZ | WSI LLC, including President/General Manager, Vice President/General Manager, and Vice President of Marketing. During their tenure, they led business restructuring processes, implemented strategic planning initiatives, developed international growth strategies, and achieved significant revenue growth and improved profitability.

Gary Hill attended Georgia Southern University from 1983 to 1987, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEET). Gary then pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kennesaw State University - Michael J. Coles College of Business from 2006 to 2008. In 2016, they enrolled at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and completed a program in Global CEO in 2017.
