P.eng. Sean Abraham

Sean Abraham, P.Eng. has a strong background in electrical and controls engineering. Sean started their career at MEC™ as frontline sales staff from July 2012 to September 2015. Sean then joined Canadian Natural Resources Limited (CNRL) as an Instrumentation and Controls Engineering Student from September 2016 to September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for evaluating instrumentation and controls changes, developing scope of work, estimated costs, and project timelines. Sean also worked on field inspections, management of change process, and developing technical specifications. Later, Sean worked at Shermco Industries as an Electrical and Controls Engineer in Training from January 2021 to June 2023. Currently, they are employed at Ready Engineering as an Electrical and Controls Engineer, starting from June 2023.

Sean Abraham, P.Eng. obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering with an Energy and Environment Specialization from the University of Calgary in the years 2013 to 2018. During their study, they also briefly attended Shantou University in 2016 and the Technical University of Crete in 2015, both for the same degree and specialization. Sean Abraham further acquired several certifications, including a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation from both Engineers and Geoscientists BC and The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) in June 2023. Sean also holds an Ignition Core 8.1 Certification from Inductive Automation obtained in March 2023. Additionally, they obtained a CSIA Level 2 Ski Instructor certification from the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance / Alliance des moniteurs de ski du Canada in April 2014.
