Dev ops 1

Dev ops 1 is currently a Dev ops 1 at Sherpa. Prior to this, they worked as a Cloud AWS DevOps Engineer at Dell Technologies from March 2018 to December 2020. There, they were responsible for provisioning, configuring, and troubleshooting various AWS cloud services, as well as managing IAM accounts and policies to meet security audit and compliance requirements. They are also proficient in writing Cloud Formation Templates (CFT) in YAML and JSON format to build the AWS with the Infrastructure as a Code paradigm.

In addition, Dev ops 1 has experience with Kubernetes for container management that runs Docker containerized applications in a cluster of EC2 instances in the Linux Environment. They have also designed and created multiple deployment strategies using CI/CD Pipelines using Jenkins. Furthermore, they have installed multiple plugins to Jenkins, configured Proxy to get auto-updates, and implemented a Continuous Delivery framework using Jenkins, Maven in multiple environments.

Other notable experience includes using Puppet to manage Web Applications, Config Files, Data Base, Commands, Users Mount Points, Packages; automating ETL process using Python for mining data from various incoming resources to load into MySQL; developing build and deployment scripts using Ant and Maven as build tools in Jenkins to move into different environments and create new jobs and branches through Jenkins; and developing Chef Cookbooks to install and configure Apache Tomcat, Jenkins, and Run deck and deployment automation.

Finally, Dev ops 1 has also automated cloud deployments using Ansible and AWS Cloud Formation Templates, used ANT and MAVEN as build tools on Java projects to develop build artifacts on the source code, and setup Chef server, workstation, client, and wrote scripts to deploy applications.

Dev ops 1 would have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Kathmandu University (KU).
