Todd James

Senior Capture Manager at Sherpa 6

Todd James has over 28 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Todd is currently a Senior Capture Manager at Sherpa 6, where they lead all Special Mission Aircraft Capture and Proposal efforts. Todd has also worked as a Senior Program Manager at Orbital ATK, where they managed special projects, and as a Chief of Special Projects and Project Manager/Engineer for the United States Air Force. In their career, Todd has captured over $476M in FMS cases and led standup and operations for Capture and Proposal Centers of Excellence.

Todd James has a Masters of Science in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University, a Masters of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University. Todd also has certification from the Acquisition Professional Development Program in Level II Defense Acq University Certified Program Manager and the FAA in Airline Transport Pilot.

Todd James reports to Jim Hamilton, COO. They are on a team with John Faatz - Project Manager, Kevin Meeder - Contracts Manager, and Brandon Norris - Operations Manager.
