Irina Levshina

Irina Levshina, CPA, CFM, MOS has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Irina is currently the Director of Financial Modelling at Sherritt International Corporation, where they have been since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held positions at Sherritt International Corporation including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis from April 2018 to June 2021, Senior Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from December 2015 to April 2018, and Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis from July 2012 to December 2015.

Before joining Sherritt International Corporation, Irina worked at Baker Hughes, where they served as the Senior Planning and Analysis Manager from June 2011 to July 2012, the Planning & Reporting Manager from May 2010 to June 2011, the Senior Financial Analyst from March 2009 to May 2010, and the Financial Analyst from August 2006 to March 2009.

Irina also has experience as a Finance Controller at Hay Group from September 2004 to February 2006 and as a Senior Accountant at GE from February 2004 to September 2004.

Irina's career in finance began in 1999 at INTERNA, where they worked as the Chief Accountant from October 1999 to February 2004. Irina holds certifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Financial Manager (CFM), and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS). Overall, Irina has a strong background in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, and accounting.

Irina Levshina obtained a Master's degree in Mathematics from Moscow State University (Lomonosov) in the years 1984-1989. Irina also holds several additional certifications including Chartered Financial Modeler (CFM), Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM), Certified General Accountant (CGA), and Certified in Financial Management (CFM), among others. Irina has also completed the IMA Leadership Academy (IMALA) Gold Level program.
