Melanie Butler

Melanie Butler, LCB, currently serves as the Trade and Transportation Compliance Director at Sherwin-Williams since June 2018, where responsibilities include managing customs broker relationships, free trade agreement qualifications, ITAR licensing, and tariff code management across North America. Previously, Melanie held roles as Regional Compliance Manager and Global Compliance Manager at Pentair from March 2016 to June 2018, overseeing compliance for US & Canadian sites and global initiatives. Experience also includes a managerial position at ERICO from June 2013 to June 2018, focusing on import/export filing accuracy and compliance procedures. Early career tenure includes positions at Expeditors and internships with the International Centre for Trade and Sustainable Development and Ohio Department of Development. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Affairs from Kent State University.
