Melinda Knight

Melinda Knight is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in research and development within the coatings industry. Currently serving as R&D Associate Director at Sherwin-Williams since June 2017, Melinda has previously held roles as R&D Technical Lab Manager and Senior Group Leader. Prior to this, Melinda spent nearly a decade at Valspar, where roles included Senior R&D Chemist/Group Lead and Quality Control Manager. Additionally, Melinda worked as an Onsite Coordinator at VWR International for Abraxis Biosciences in 2005-2006. Academic credentials include an MBA in Information Systems from Roosevelt University, a Master’s degree in Materials Chemistry from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemistry from Roosevelt University.
