Haythem Shata

Haythem Shata, PE, is a Senior Strategist and Project Strategist at Sherwood Design Engineers, with a focus on sustainable and resilient project visioning, planning, implementation, and construction since August 2018. Haythem possesses a strong technical background as a Strategy-driven Civil Engineer, recognized for expertise in planning and implementation at various levels. Previously, at Long Engineering from August 2013 to June 2018, Haythem gained significant experience in construction processes and integrated design, contributing to notable projects such as the Georgia Tech Stormwater Master Plan and the Living Building Challenge - Kendeda Building. Early career roles include Project Engineer, Engineering Technician, and Project Intern at Long Engineering, as well as a Civil Engineering Intern at Paragon Consulting Group, Inc. Haythem graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015.
