Brandon McCormick has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Brandon is currently serving as the Vice President of Communications at the Sandberg Goldberg Bernthal Family Foundation since July 2022. Prior to this, McCormick held the position of Board Member at the National Domestic Violence Hotline starting from June 2017. Brandon also worked as the Principal at McCormick Communications from November 2016 onwards.
Before that, McCormick held various leadership roles at well-known companies. Brandon served as the Vice President at Lyft from May 2015 to November 2016. Prior to Lyft, they held the position of Head of Communications at WhatsApp Inc. from December 2014 to May 2015. McCormick had an extensive tenure at Facebook, where they held the role of Director of Global Communications - Monetization from March 2009 to May 2015.
Before working at Facebook, McCormick worked at Google as a Senior Manager for Global Communications & Public Affairs from March 2006 to November 2009. Prior to Google, they worked at Intuit as the Manager of Corporate Communications from November 2004 to February 2006. McCormick began their career as an Account Supervisor at Access Communications, where they worked from 1999 to 2004.
Brandon McCormick attended the University of California, Berkeley from 1995 to 2000, where they received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.
