Cm-Bim Shannon Devon

Shannon DeVon is a CM-BIM with extensive experience in the construction industry. Shannon has held various roles in different companies throughout their career.

Shannon began their career at FCI Constructors, Inc. in 2003 as an Estimator before moving on to Lauth Property Group in 2006. At Lauth, they served as a Preconstruction Coordinator.

In 2008, Shannon joined Hunt Construction Group as a BIM/VDC Engineer. Shannon created 3D models using Revit Architecture and utilized Navisworks Manage for trade coordination and schedule animations. Shannon worked on prestigious projects like the Barclays Center, the New Castle Correctional Facility Expansion, the Hyatt Place Austin, and the Air Traffic Control Tower at the Cleveland Airport.

In 2010, Shannon transitioned to the role of Estimator at Hunt Construction Group, where they continued their expertise in estimating.

In 2012, Shannon joined Pepper Construction Company as a Virtual Construction Manager. Shannon was responsible for handling BIM processes on assigned projects and worked across different departments to assist in business development, pre-construction, marketing, and operations.

Shannon's most recent role was at Shiel Sexton, where they served as the Director of Virtual Design & Construction starting in 2014. In this role, they were responsible for maintaining corporate VDC/BIM workflows, developing VDC protocols, training and managing staff, and investigating new software platforms.

Throughout their career, Shannon has demonstrated their expertise in BIM/VDC and has built strong relationships with designers, subcontractors, and software developers. Shannon'swork has contributed to the success of various construction projects.

Shannon DeVon earned a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction Management from Purdue University, which was completed from 1998 to 2002. Prior to attending Purdue, Shannon attended Penn High School from 1994 to 1998. In addition to the degree, Shannon also obtained a Certificate of Management-Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM) from AGC in August 2013.
