Cristina Sorice

Cristina Sorice serves as a Staff Autonomy Engineer at Shield AI since February 2023, focusing on the development of cross-platform Autonomy software for the Hivemind project, specifically as the Tech Lead for the Multi-Agent Executive Manager subsystem. Prior to Shield AI, Sorice worked at Heliogen from February 2022 to January 2023 as the sole Autonomy and Robotics Engineer, where expertise in software development and testing for autonomous systems was applied to enhance the operational efficiency of power plants. Sorice's career began at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, contributing from June 2015 to February 2022 as a Robotics Engineer in various mobility and robotic systems groups. Educational credentials include a Master's of Engineering in Robotics and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering & Applied Mechanics, both from the University of Pennsylvania.
