Daniel Ramey

Daniel Ramey has a diverse and extensive work experience. Daniel is currently working at Shields Health Solutions, where they started as Vice President of Strategic Growth in April 2016. Daniel then progressed to become the Senior Vice President of Operations in New York from June 2019 to October 2020. After that, they served as the EVP of Operations from October 2020 to January 2022, and currently holds the position of Chief Operating Officer.

Before joining Shields Health Solutions, Daniel worked at L.E.K. Consulting as a Senior Consultant from September 2014 to April 2016. Prior to that, they had a role as an Associate at Partners HealthCare, where they collaborated with investment professionals on managing a venture capital fund focused on investments in healthcare companies. Their responsibilities also included leading the diligence efforts on a vascular access medical device company.

Daniel's earlier experiences include working at Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) - Johnson & Johnson as an Operations Tandem Leader, overseeing the development of a low-cost sterilizer and consumable for the Chinese market. Daniel was also responsible for implementing manufacturing capabilities in Switzerland for tax benefits. Before that, they worked at McNeil Consumer Healthcare - Johnson & Johnson as an Operations Project Leader and at Janssen-Ortho - Johnson & Johnson as a Packaging Engineer. Daniel provided packaging development support and designed packaging components for new product launches.

Daniel's career started at Ethicon, Inc. - Johnson & Johnson, where they worked as a Quality Engineer. Daniel oversaw the release of high-value products and developed procedures to mitigate product risk.

In 2006, Daniel had an internship at Boston Scientific in R&D Engineering.
