Michael Ham

Michael Ham serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Shields Health Solutions since May 2020, overseeing operations, growth strategies, and team development for over 80 health system partners. Previously, Michael held several leadership positions at Optum from June 2019 to May 2020, including Market President and Senior Vice President of Operations, after DaVita Medical Group, where Michael was Senior Director of Operations until its acquisition by Optum. Prior to that, Michael gained valuable experience in investment banking and healthcare finance at J.P. Morgan and Wells Fargo. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Honors Finance from W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University, after graduating from La Cueva High School.
