Richard Jussaume

Richard Jussaume, PMP has over 25 years of work experience in various roles and companies.

Richard'smost recent position was as the Manager of DevOps at Shields Health Solutions, starting in April 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior DevOps Engineer/DBA at the same company from March 2020 to April 2021. In this role, they were responsible for managing approximately 90 Linux Servers running CentOS 7 and PostgreSQL 11, providing ongoing maintenance and ensuring server stability, as well as handling nightly database backups and restoration requests.

From September 2013 to August 2018, Richard worked at ActioNet, Inc. as the Director of Application Development and Integration for their Volpe project. Richard'sresponsibilities included managing Data Warehouse Development and Support, SharePoint Administration and Development, and Database Administration and Support. Richard also mentored and developed staff members and augmented their skills in SharePoint and Database Administration.

Before ActioNet, Richard was with Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT) from November 2012 to September 2013 as a SQL Server Developer and Development DBA for the DOT-FAA Safety Assurance System project. Richard'sduties included database architecture, development, and administration, C# development, and managing application deployments from Microsoft Team Foundation Server.

Prior to SGT, Richard was a Consultant with Sigma Systems Inc. from August 2012 to October 2012, where they provided architectural and database development assistance on an FAA contract for Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, Inc. at the John A. Volpe National Transportation Systems Center.

Earlier in their career, Richard held various positions including Manager of Application Development at Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island, Technical Director at Optas (a Division of Dendrite), Owner/Independent Consultant at Interblade, Inc, Managing Consultant at Breakaway Solutions, Software Engineer/UI Developer at Fidelity Investments, and Systems Analyst/Developer at State Street Bank.

Richard Jussaume, PMP has demonstrated expertise in DevOps, database administration, data warehouse development, SharePoint administration, C# development, and application architecture.

Richard Jussaume, PMP obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where they studied from 1987 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in October 2015. Richard has also obtained certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in September 2017, Certified DevOps Leader and DevOps Foundation Certification from the DevOps Institute in June 2018, and various ITIL certifications from AXELOS Global Best Practice, including ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management in November 2016, ITIL Practitioner Certificate in IT Service Management in December 2016, and ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Continual Service Improvement in March 2017. Richard has also obtained numerous certifications related to Sumo Logic, including Sumo Logic Administration, Sumo Logic Advanced Metrics with K8's, Sumo Logic Search Mastery, and Sumo Logic Fundamentals, all of which they obtained in July 2020. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in subjects such as Git Essential Training: The Basics from LinkedIn in April 2022 and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in November 2021.
