Ashton Simmons

Ashton Simmons is the current President of Operations at Shift Capital. Prior to this, they were with French & Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust, Downingtown Community Education Foundation, LBG Real Estate Companies, LLC, Township of West Pikeland, and Seritage Growth Properties.

Ms. Simmons has over fifteen years of experience in the retail and real estate industry. Ashton began their career in retail management before transitioning into the world of real estate development. In their most recent role as General Manager at CenterCal Properties, they were responsible for opening The Veranda to the public. This included overall management, business development, specialty leasing, and creating a phenomenal customer experience.

Ms. Simmons is a proven leader with a track record of success in both the retail and real estate industries. Ashton is passionate about creating exceptional customer experiences and is excited to bring their expertise to Shift Capital.

Ashton Simmons has a Doctor of Law from Hofstra University School of Law, a degree in Legal Studies from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, and an MBA in Business from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Ashton also has a Bachelor of Science in Finance with an International Concentration from Morgan State University. Ashton is certified by The National Union of Cuban Jurists in the Course of Cuban Legal System, by New York City Housing Court in Guardian Ad Litem, and by Pennsylvania Real Estate Commission in Real Estate Salesperson (License).

They are on a team with Ralph Davies - CFO, Michael Matera - Director of Marketing, and Aneshia Tomlinson - Director of Property Management. Ashton Simmons reports to Brian Murray, Partner, CEO. and Jeff Kahn - Partner, Operations reports to Ashton Simmons.
