Mabelle Montina has extensive experience in the field of design, particularly in UI/UX and product design. Mabelle'smost recent position was as a Senior Product Designer at Shift, where they started in June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Virtually Human as a Senior Product Designer from April 2022 to May 2023. At Virtually Human, they were involved in utilizing emerging technologies in gaming, sports, and mixed reality to create immersive digital experiences.
Before that, Mabelle had a role as a Senior UI/UX Designer at IAG from July 2021 to March 2022. Mabelle also worked at Qantas as a Senior UI Designer from April 2021 to July 2021. At IAG and Qantas, Mabelle focused on designing user interfaces and experiences for various digital platforms.
Prior to that, Mabelle worked at Nabo Australia as a Senior UI/UX Designer from February 2017 to July 2018. In this role, they were responsible for creating wireframes, layouts, user flows, prototypes, and designs for responsive web and mobile applications.
Mabelle also has experience at Foxtel as a UI Designer from January 2016 to February 2017, Harvey Norman as a Senior UI/UX Designer from May 2015 to January 2016, Woolworths Limited as a Senior Digital Designer for BIG W from October 2013 to May 2015, and The Retail Apparel Group as a Senior Digital/Graphic Designer for YD, Tarocash & Connor from September 2012 to September 2013.
Throughout their career, Mabelle has demonstrated a strong ability to design visually engaging, user-centric interfaces and experiences. Mabelle has collaborated with various teams, including project managers and developers, to ensure the successful execution of their designs.
Mabelle Montina has a diverse education history. Mabelle started their education journey in 2000, attending Blakehurst High School, where they obtained a Higher School Certificate. Following this, in 2003, they attended Design Centre Enmore and completed a Diploma in Graphic Design.
In 2011 and 2012, Mabelle enrolled at Hornsby TAFE I.T., where they pursued a Certificate IV in Web Design. Mabelle expanded their knowledge further in 2015 by attending General Assembly, where they focused on UX Design and earned a degree in Design and Visual Communications.
In addition to their formal education, Mabelle has obtained a Membership certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation in September 2021.
