Marhadi Salim has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the risk and compliance field. Currently, as the Head of Risk & Compliance at Shift, a fast-growing technology company in Australia, Marhadi oversees the company's risk and compliance functions. Prior to joining Shift, Marhadi worked at Macquarie Group as an Associate Director - Business Operation Risk Management. In this role, they established and led the Group Technology Control Assurance program and provided advice on operational and security risks to senior management. Before that, Marhadi held positions at Aon, where they served as the Head of Risk & Compliance Asia Pacific under the Security Risk Management team and implemented a unified compliance program for multiple regulators. Marhadi also worked as a Risk & Compliance Manager at Aon. Additionally, Marhadi has experience at Genworth Financial as a Senior Business Review Manager and at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Manager.

Marhadi Salim, CISA CRISC, holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Information System from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Marhadi attended UGM for an unspecified period of time. In 1999, they also studied Social Sciences at The University of Tokyo for one year. Marhadi Salim has obtained several additional certifications, including Certified In Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) from ISACA in February 2019 and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in March 2009. Marhadi also holds the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft, which they obtained in October 2020.
