Michael Kammes

Michael Kammes has a diverse work experience spanning several industries related to media and entertainment technology. Michael is currently working at Shift Media as the Senior Director of Innovation since October 2022. Prior to this, they founded and hosted an educational and infotainment video series called 5 THINGS starting from August 2014. In 2018, they joined BeBop Technology as the VP of Marketing & Business Development until July 2022. Before that, they held various roles at Key Code Media from 2008 to 2018, including Director of Technology and Sr. Technology & Workflow Consultant. Michael also worked as a Sound Editor and provided creative services at Lucid Sound from 1996 to 2008. Additionally, they worked as a Systems Integrator, Trainer, and Technician at Midwest Media Group from 2005 to 2008, Rental Manager and Creative Services at Graybow Communications Group from 2000 to 2003, and Rental Technician at VidTech Audio Visual from 1998 to 2000. Throughout their career, Kammes has demonstrated expertise in technology consulting, workflow consultation, pre-sales consulting, and post-production audio editing and mixing.

Michael Kammes earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film with a focus on Post Production from Columbia College Chicago, which they attended from 1996 to 2001.
