EVP, Southwest & Specialty Divisions at Shimmick Construction

Andy Sloane is an Executive Vice President of Southwest and Specialty Divisions, where he is responsible for the overall performance of the Southwest Division, MEP Division, Equipment Division, and Legacy Foundations. Andy has been instrumental in strategic partnering with potential contractors and designers, and design/build pursuits.

Andy joined the Shimmick team in 1996, after a five-year period with Steve P. Rados, Inc. During his tenure here at Shimmick, he has had extensive experience in estimating and project management. Key projects include: Project Manager of a Caltrans project in Los Angeles, Project Manager of the $173 million LA Metro Design/Build Orange Line Project, Project Manager of the $206 million MWD Robert A. Skinner Ozone Retrofit Project, and Project Sponsor of the $190 million MWD Robert Diemer Ozone Retrofit Project.

Andy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a registered professional engineer in California.
