Steve Richards

Steve Richards, President, has 39 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, with expertise in the management and oversight of design-build projects. He is responsible for domestic and international construction operations for a variety of projects in the infrastructure and mining markets, including rail and transit, highways and bridges, water resources and treatment, hydropower, mine development, and mine operations. Prior to his current role, Steve served as Senior Vice President of Business Development for the URS Energy & Construction, Civil Construction & Mining Group and Senior Vice President, Infrastructure Services for Washington Group International, a global engineering, construction, and management company acquired by URS in 2007. Steve started his career with Shimmick legacy company Morrison Knudsen, supporting estimating and working through multiple positions including Project Director on numerous field assignments in the industrial buildings and civil infrastructure markets.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Idaho and completed M.B.A studies at the University of Denver.
