Daan Den Boer

Daan den Boer is a Process Engineer specializing in sustainability at Shin-Etsu PVC B.V. since June 2023. Prior to this role, Daan served as a PhD candidate at Leiden Science - Universiteit Leiden from November 2017 to December 2022. Daan's experience includes internships focused on catalysis, bio-organic synthesis, and process technology at various organizations, including Leiden Science, Hexion Inc., and SABIC. Daan holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Leiden University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemistry from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences (2011-2015). Early in Daan's career, a foundation in science was established at HAVO Willem van Oranje.
