Raulston Gillette is an experienced professional in agriculture and aquaculture, currently serving as Deputy Chief at SNBL since April 2023. Prior to this role, Raulston was a Senior Field Extension Officer at Partners of the Americas from March 2015 to February 2017, where responsibilities included providing technical guidance on shade house design and offering market orientation for production efforts. From March 2010 to March 2015, Raulston worked as an Extension Officer for the Ministry of Agriculture in Guyana, focusing on the National Aquaculture action plan and production data collection. Raulston also contributed to academia as a Lecturer in Introduction to Aquaculture at the Guyana School of Agriculture from September 2011 to August 2013, employing various teaching methods to enhance student learning. Raulston holds a PhD in Regional and Global Resource Economics and a Master of Science in Agriculture from Kagoshima University, along with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guyana.
