Jacob Smiley is a seasoned sales and engineering professional with extensive experience in team management and performance optimization. Currently serving as Division Sales Manager at Shine Solar since May 2021, Jacob oversees a team of 7-14 representatives while monitoring key performance indicators related to sales closing and compliance. Prior to this role, Jacob was a Sales Manager at Progrexion, leading a team of 15-20 representatives to consistently achieve sales targets and implement incentive programs. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Engineer at Tesla, where Jacob managed a team of 20-30, ensured production goals were met, and conducted routine quality inspections. Jacob holds a Master’s degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno.
